Besides its platforming and puzzle-based gameplay, Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time has one more entertaining aspect: collecting skins! For both playable characters, Crash and Coco, there are a total of 29 skins to unlock for each. That’s a total of 58 skins to unlock! With Tawna also being rumored to be added to the game, that number might just get higher!

Unlock Methods for Crash Skins

The majority of Crash’s skins can be unlocked by collecting all of the clear gems in each level. There are a total of 6 gems per level and once you grab them all, you automatically unlock that level’s skin.

A few other skins can be acquired in other ways, such as by beating the game or setting up your Activision account.

Default

We probably don’t need to explain this but this is Crash’s default skin. He has it right from the start of the game, else, he wouldn’t exist, probably!

Mother Clucker

You can dress Crash up as a crazy chicken by collecting all 6 clear gems in the Rude Awakening level.

Rawkit Hed

Give Crash a crazy rock-n-roll look by collecting all 6 clear gems in the A Real Grind level.

Bright Now

Clad Crash in full neon lighting by gathering all 6 clear gems in the Hit The Road level.

Booty Seeker

Prepare Crash to set sail and plunder, eyepatch and all, by collecting all 6 clear gems in the Booty Calls level.

Ze Artiste

Have Crash explore his artistic side by getting him to gather all 6 clear gems in the Hook, Line, And Sinker level.

Crash will fight for honor while clad in samurai armor after gathering all 6 clear gems in the Potion Commotion level.

Give Crash a dapper look with a monocle by gathering all 6 clear gems in the Run It Bayou level.

Warped Biker

Crash can go full throttle while wearing shades after defeating N. Brio in the N. Verted Trouble Brewing level.

Fake Crash

Do Crash things as an imposter Crash by gathering all 7 clear gems in both the normal and N. Verted versions of the Building Bridges level.

Shreddin’ the Gnar

Get Crash ready to…crash the slopes by gathering all 7 clear gems in both the normal and N. Verted versions of the Snow Way Out level.

Fuzzy Crusader

Crash will be saving lives and fighting for justice after collecting all 7 clear gems in both the normal and N. Verted versions of the Ship Happens level.

Living Fossil

Triceratops? More like Triceracrash! Turn Crash into a dinosaur by earning all 8 clear gems in both the normal and N. Verted versions of the Blast To The Past level.

Floater

Fill Crash up with helium by gathering all 8 clear gems in both the normal and N. Verted versions of the Dino Dash level.

Geometry Warrior

Turn Crash into a future warrior by collecting all 9 clear gems in both the normal and N. Verted versions of the Out For Launch level.

Interstellar Buccaneer

Crash can fight enemies from out of this world after collecting all 9 clear gems in both the normal and N. Verted versions of the Shipping Error level.

Future Past

Cyberpunk 2077 will have to eat its heart out after Crash collects all 10 clear gems in both the normal and N. Verted versions of the Food Run level.

Crate Crusher 9000

Transform Crash into a robotic menace by collecting all 11 clear gems in both the normal and N. Verted versions of the Nitro Processing level.

Give Crash a more beast-like look by gathering all 12 clear gems in both the normal and N. Verted versions of the Cortex Castle level.

General Rule

Crash will command huge armies once you’ve gathered all Flashback Tapes and earned all Platinum Flashback Relics.
