If you want to get S-rank and premium delivery, then you need to play Death Stranding on hard difficulty. You’re not able to get the S-rank on lower difficulties, unfortunately. You have to get through the story relatively quickly. You could save time by using vehicles and ziplines early in the game.

Once you finish the main game, then you have to make sure you find all 39 facilities. Once you discover all 39 facilities, you would need to level them all up to 5 stars. This is, unfortunately, one of the more time-consuming tasks in the game once you finish the main story. The reason why you needed to utilize ziplines early in the game is that you can use these for maxing out the facilities. It could take, what seems like, countless deliveries. You could look up how to get platinum, but they’ll all tell you how utilizing ziplines is a great time saver.

You will have to also get collectibles in Death Stranding known as memory chips. However, these memory chips aren’t even available until you’ve leveled up the nearest facility. Once you’ve leveled it up enough, you’ll receive notification from the manager of the facility that the collective has spawned. After you do all that, then you just have to make sure you clean up a few other achievements such as structure building and crafting.

Now that you have all of that completed, then you can have bragging rights about snagging platinum in Death Stranding.
