No character is designed equal, no matter how hard game designers try. But not that it’s bad that there’ll always be meta characters, just like how we’re fighting as meta humans in Injustice 2!
With the Gamepleton Injustice 2 Tier List (Strata 1), we’re going to be looking at the best of the best the game has to offer players and why exactly they’ve managed to land themselves in the S-tier spot!
S-Tier Characters
- Black Adam
Black Adam has been one of the game’s few consistently good characters who have been solidly strong from the start of the game. Admittedly, he isn’t quite at the level of strength he used to be, but that hasn’t stopped his potency over the years. With a selection of strong normals, a plethora of safe on block moves, and extensive combos, Black Adam knows how to bring the fight.
- Doctor Fate
At the start of the game’s life, Doctor Fact had a lot of potential, but took some real development on the player’s side to discover just how good he could become. Fast-forward a couple of years and here Doctor Fate finally is, in all of his zoning glory. Easily coming out on top as one of the strongest zoners in the game, Doctor Fate has very little issues playing keep away with the majority of the cast.
- Wonder Woman
Wonder Woman has been consistently good for the last year or so and it appears that this isn’t going to be changing any time soon. Neither a rush-down character or a zoner, Wonder Woman is the epitome of space control. Through the use of her shield, she can keep opponents away as much as she chooses and since it isn’t classed as a projectile; very few people in the game can even deal with it. This is just one of many reasons Wonder Woman is as strong as she is.
- Starfire
When it comes to the Injustice 2 tier list, it should be no surprise that Starfire is near the top as an S-tier character. She blends into the mid-range slot perfectly with her consistent hit strings and strong zoning capabilities. By alternating between range and up-close, your opponents won’t know what hit them.
- Catwoman
Unlike the others here, Catwoman makes for a great rush-down character. Her moves allow for the opportunity of her dashing in quickly, only to dash right back out again before the danger sets in. Catwoman is the type of character that will reward aggressive play and is the perfect fit for Injustice 2’s tier list for S-tier characters.
